Kiara Advani removes Jani Master’s name from Game Changer post following backlash over POCSO charges

Actress Kiara Advani is all set to be seen in Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, directed by Shankar Shanamugham. Now, the actress has found herself in the middle of a controversy as she edited a post that mentioned choreographer Jani Master.

Kiara Advani shared a post that was about her collaboration with Stree 2 choreographer Jani Master in connection with the song Dhop from Game Changer. Kiara’s caption carried choreographer Jani Master’s name in it. The post reads, “I remember seeing @alwaysjani masters choreography and thinking how are we going to do this, but that’s the beauty of our job, always learning something new..”

She later removed POCSO-accused Jani Master’s name from the Game Changer shoutout post following backlash on social media.

Jani Master has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act after the survivor claimed the abuse began when she was 16. He was charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he faces charges under IPC sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt).
